Combating Mosquito Attacks by Using Mosquito Repellent

Mosquitoes are tiny insects that breed on standing waters. Despite being very small in size these pests are very dangerous as they transmit deadly diseases through their bites. Majority of the time their bite causes irritation on the skin which often turns into an infection if scratched. However in the worst situations people are also infected with diseases like Dengue, Malaria, and Encephalitis etc.  It is the female mosquitoes that feed on the blood which acts a nutrient for the development of their eggs. To combat their attacks most people now use the mosquito repellents.

Many research works have been conducted to understand hunt down their victims. Though conclusive results have not been found, it is believed that the odor of the body, smell of carbon dioxide and the temperature of the body. Many say that dark colored clothes are also an attractant to these mosquitoes.  On this basis the mosquito repellents are manufactured.
Even though the market is flooded with different types of repelling products it is the Natural Mosquito Repellents that are in demand. The main reason is they are safe for the skin for being made from plant extracts. These natural repellents when applied on the body they cover its odor and instead they give off their own pleasant smell that the mosquitoes cannot stand.  Hence the annoying pests are not to be seen near the humans when they apply these natural products. To get the best results it is advised to apply them on regular intervals as their action lasts for few hours.
